Comment la seconde génération d’enfants d’immigrés vietnamiens arrive-t-elle à s’approprier cette dualité ? Par quels moyens leurs aînés parviennent-ils à leur transmettre la culture du pays d’origine ?

« Vivre entre deux cultures » : tel est le défi identitaire auquel font face les jeunes Franco-Vietnamiens de nos jours.

C’est sur ces questions communautaires et de transmission culturelle que Fils Rouges Vietnam vous propose d’assister à sa table ronde organisée dans le cadre des 60 ans de l’Association Générale des Etudiants Vietnamiens de Paris (AGEVP).

Cette table ronde est introduite par Mme Liêm Khê Luguern, historienne, chercheure affiliée à l’IRIS-EHESS et à l’Institut Convergences Migrations. Elle est membre du conseil scientifique de l’exposition Immigrations Est et Sud-Est asiatiques depuis 1860 qui s’est dernièrement tenue au Musée national de l’histoire de l’immigration à Paris. Elle a également soutenu une thèse sur les « Travailleurs Indochinois ».

MODERATEUR

François Guillemot : historien, spécialiste du Việt Nam contemporain, ingénieur de recherche CNRS à l’Institut d’Asie Orientale à Lyon. Auteur de Đại Việt, indépendance et révolution au Vietnam, l’échec de la troisième voie, 1938-1955 (Les Indes savantes, 2012), et de Viêt-Nam, fractures d’une nation. Une histoire contemporaine de 1858 à nos jours (La Découverte, 2018).

FILS ROUGES VIETNAM

Fils Rouges Vietnam a pour premier objectif d’apporter aux jeunes, Vietnamiens ou non, des clés de compréhension sur les enjeux sociaux et économiques actuels du Vietnam et sa position géopolitique en Asie et dans le Monde, par le moyen de conférences et d’une revue de presse, toujours dans un esprit d’ouverture, de tolérance et de convivialité.
